Attention: SS501 fans in Malaysia


If you’re in Malaysia and a fan of kpop group SS501 (and/or Boys Before FlowersKim Hyun-joong), you may be interested in a last-minute fan signing event to be held on Thursday.

Fan Kiongna informs me that the fan signing was just put together and confirmed by Warner Music Malaysia; the SS501 boys added the event because they would be in Kuala Lumpur following a photo shoot. Info as follows:

7-figure high price, SS501 to hold, concert in Malaysia


Marctensia has confirmed to be the organizer for Korea’s popular idol group SS501’s Malaysia concert with a 7-figure high price!

SS501 who visited Malaysia on a whirlwind stop for a press conference and fan sign session, had previously prominently announced to be coming to Malaysia for a concert either this December or next January. According to a reliable source, since SS501’s plans to come to Malaysia for a concert was spread, 3 organizers from Singapore and Malaysia were snatching for the organizing rights,, but finally Marctensia obtained the rights to organize “SS501 Asia Tour Persona 2009″ Malaysia with a 7-figure price.

Marctensia had previousl organized Sandy Lam’s and Akon’s concert in Malaysia. Rumors are, on the 3rd, after SS501’s maanger sent SS501 back to Korea, the next day he visited Malaysia again to discuss details about the concert with Marctensia.

Equal to the price for Jay Chou
It is said in that the initial discussions, Marctensia will buy SS501’s Malaysia concert with a similar price to top Chinese singers. “Its rumored that the price is close to the price for Jay Chou, just the price for SS501 alone is close to 1 million RM!” (Note: 1 million RM = 284,600 USD)

Following a successful concert on the 1st August at Seoul Olympic Park, SS501, who’ve debut for 4 years, also officially announced the launch of their Asia Tour, including the 2 concert that was held on 13th August at Budokan, Tokyo, subsequently they’ll be holding their concert at Taipei Arena and in Singapore.

As the production company just received the stage layout for SS501’s concert tour, hence there is no set date and venue yet, but generally its expected to be in mid-December, to be held before or after their Singapore concert.

SS501, who’s currently extremely popular in Asia, its rumored that the management company has said that there’ll be more than 100 people coming over, including SS501’s assistants, make-up artists, hairstylists, concert technicians etc.

Korean Hanazawa Rui leading team for autograph signing-singing . KHJ is coming to Malaysia to meet fans.

Fans who has been waiting for a long time to meet KHJ and korean idol group SS501, your dream is coming true! M’sia Warner has revealed on their blog, they are preparing for SS501’s only autograph session on September 3rd.

KHJ who shot to stardom playing Yoon Jihoo in Korean version of Hana Yori Dango, SS501 the group he belongs to, their popularity increased rapidly due to their part in singing the theme song Because I’m Foolish.

This drama established high ratings in Korea and F4 wave took Asia by storm. In addition to Lee Minho who played Gu Jupyo (Domyouji)’s rise to fame, KHJ who played Yoon Jihoo (Hanazawa Rui), his popularity could be said to be on par with Lee Minho.

SS501 is currently the most popular idol group in Korea, the 5 members are leader Kim Hyun Joong, Heo Young Saeng, Kim Kyu Jong, Park Jung Min and Kim Hyun Jun. SS501 who is currently holding their concert tour is much anticipated by fans when M’sia was listed as one of the likely tour stops. M’sia Warner has first released the good news on their blog and expressed that if everything goes well, SS501 would be in M’sia on September 3rd for the autograph signing, the only session to be held.

According to “Guang Ming Entertainment”’s understanding, SS501 was eager to meet with M’sian fans and upon knowing they would be stopping over in M’sia before returning to Korea, they made an effort to ask the company to let them few hours transit time to meet with their fans.

The reporter confirmed the information with the Product Manager Mr Gong at M’sia Warner, he admitted that it is very likely that fans will get to meet SS501 on September 3rd. Because M’sia Warner only received the notification shortly before their public holiday, they had to wait till the government officials’ return to work on Tuesday before they could apply for the permit. Mr Gong expressed that if everything goes smoothly, Warner will hold a public event for SS501.

Super Junior releases new trot single, ‘Knocking’


Following their huge success with Super Show 3, Super Junior recently made a surprise announcement that they would be officially releasing a trot single entitled, Knocking.

Their new single was revealed on the 16th through various music websites such as MelOn, Cyworld, and more.

The members had sang Knocking at Super Show 3, and they received an overwhelming response to the song due to its catchy lyrics and fun melody. As a result, it was decided to make it an official release for fans.

Meanwhile, Super Junior will be returning to the Seoul Olympic Stadium to perform at the first stop for the SM TOWN LIVE ‘10 event on the 21st.


Kangin makes a surprise appearance at Super Show 3



Kangin, who is currently serving the Korean military, has made a surprise appearance on Super Junior’s concert through a video.

On the 15th, Super Junior held their concert, Super Show 3, at Seoul’s Olympic Park. Before their concert, the active members held a press interview and revealed, “Even though Kangin is serving in the military, he will be making a surprise appearance. It has been planned for Kangin to perform Handel’s opera, Rinaldo, with us, but our hearts still ache. We wish he were there instead of just his voice.

As revealed, Kangin joined the members during their opera performance of Handel’s Rinaldo and performed an orchestra version of Lascia ch’io pianga. Since he couldn’t personally be there for the concert, Kangin made an appearance through a pre-recorded video and made a heartwarming performance which delighted the 10,000 fans who were present.

This Seoul concert marked the official beginning of their Asia tour.

On another note, fellow member Kangin was not the only special guest at this concert. Although he wasn’t there to perform, 2PM’s Nichkhun was at the concert to cheer on his buddies.

Super Junior’s Shindong was the one to reveal this fact through his Twitter account. On the 14th, he uploaded a picture of Nichkhun posing with Super Junior members Yesung, Ryeowook, and Donghae, and tweeted, “Khunnie arrived!!! Concert’s starting hehehe Super Show 3 go go go!!!!

Shindong and Heechul dress up for Super Show 3




Following Super Junior’s successful gig Super Show 3 which took place at the Seoul Olympic Park on the 14th and 15th, Shindong and Heechul and been garnering much interest with their beautiful feminine looks.

The two both tweeted pictures of themselves with Heechul resembling Lady Gaga, and Shindong resembling a fine woman.

Fans who viewed the photos commented things like, “What did you do? Oh well, you still look fine,” “I will now call you two my sisters,” and “Oppa is really beautiful, more pretty than me.”

Meanwhile, a variety of special stages were put on including Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Shindong’s rendition of Beyonce’s Single Ladies, Heechul performing Lady Gaga’s Poker Face, and the 4 of them together performing Beyonce’s Crazy in Love.
